Composed of three the municipalities Kizu, Kamo, and Yamashiro, Kizugawa City hosts numerous community events throughout the year. We welcome you to come check them out!

November 3 (Fri. – Nat. Holiday) Hyouge Mono Tea Gathering in Mikanohara

Event

Join us for a day of tea related activities in Mikanohara! It’s sure to be tea-riffic!
Don’t miss out on this one-day only event!
In addition to tea demonstrations, there will be a panel exhibition of the award-winning manga Hyouge Mono, musical performances by the Ocha-neko band, a tea-themed cosplay contest, and a children’s area where the little ones can learn about tea as well!

Born and raised on the tea of Kamikoma, the Ocha-neko make their grand appearance in Mikanohara!
Look for the big airplane and boat at Kuni Elementary School and come join our music and play filled tea party!

November 5 (Sun) Kizugawa City Yamashiro Festival

Event

Lots of fun to be had at this year’s Yamashiro Festival!
In addition to the sale of goods and exhibitions by members of the city’s chamber of commerce, there will be a mochi pounding contest, a fun kid’s corner, and a flea market. It will be fun for the whole family!
