Events in Kizugawa City


A sizeable city consisting of the three municipalities of Kizu, Kamo, and Yamashiro, Kizugawa City hosts numerous community events throughout the year. We welcome you to come check them out!

A small children’s sumo competition is held to pray for a good harvest. It is one of the Wakidenomiya Buddhist parish’s events that is designated as an important intangible cultural property.
No cancellation (will be held in the worship hall in the event of rain)
JR Tanakura Station (entrance to Wakidenomiya is visible upon exiting the station
